Saying goodbye to plastics!
News
With the supermarkets discontinuing the supply of single-use plastic bags, we have been able to find a unique way to follow the trend for recyclable bags.
We have been given a huge supply of old street banners which we are making into bags to use for our Wraps and for the squares that go out to the volunteers who sew up for us. So when you have finished sewing up, you can just put the completed Wrap back into the bag and send it back to us.
We are trialling sewing a label onto one of the 28 squares that we bundle up, so that we are also cutting down on postage costs and perhaps also extra label costs, as these sometimes get lost in a desk somewhere.
Let us know how it works for you.
And thanks again to all those who sew up. Love your work!
